On-site installation / software implementation

• Work alongside project management teams to successfully implement our software solution onboard our customer vessels/offices
• Ability to travel internationally to ships and customer offices around the world
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to functional architects to ensure alignment between business partners and developers
• Ability to document and communicate functional business product requirements
• Assist in installation setup and configuration tasks in various tests or live environments
• Educate users on best practices across the cruise fleet and mentor on best-in-class usability concepts

Support duties

• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain customer support tickets within our Jira Service Management platform
• Identify defects and help troubleshoot errors
• Communicate and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal departments
• Ability to create and update reports within our Jasper report engine

Functional QA testing tasks

• Execute functional QA tests for upcoming releases, bug fixes
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation smoke testing, considering that our software is optimized for computers, tablets and mobile devices
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Communicate with the technical QA and the functional architect potential issues and tasks
• Maintain an accurate up to date test environment

• Good understanding of user front-end technologies and platforms
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of other languages is a ‘nice-to-have’
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
• Service-oriented and customer-focused
• Cruise industry knowledge would be a plus
• Experience in application support
• Experience with software engineering and customer experience

Applicants should demonstrate expertise and competencies in one or more of the following technologies:

• Understanding of Web Frontend and/or Web Backend developing technologies
• One or any of the listed technologies knowledge would be a plus: Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Nginx, Keycloak, Kibana, Jenkins, MySQL, Maven, Java, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
• Potential experience in using cloud services like AWS or Digital Ocean
